Make video montages at www.OneTrueMedia.com
School, Soccer, and baseball are all over and summer has officially begun. We had a great school year with lots of success for both boys. There are pictures here of the last soccer games, field day, and Bryce's last baseball game. He was very excited to finally be able to play on a real team. (However, we stretched a little when reporting his bday so he could play with the rest of his class) Hope everyone has a great summer!!!

Outstanding Osprey
I got an email from Will's teacher asking if we could attend the Spirit Rally on the last day of school. She told me that Will was nominated by the 2nd grade staff to receive the Outstanding Osprey award for the month of May. There are 2 students from each grade level each month. Only 18 second graders for the year receive this award. We were VERY proud of him! Mrs Boling told us that he did not know about this and it was to be a surprise. (I am sure he was wondering what we were doing at the rally) This is he and Tim waiting for the rally to begin!
And then when his name was called he was a little surprised...
And mortified that he was having to get up in front of the whole school to get it...
The Outstanding Osprey award is basically a good citizen type award. Students are nominated based on grades, classroom performance, behavior, etc. We are so very proud of our big boy! He is growing into such a tremendous young man!!!

Warming of "The Rock"
Photo and video editing at www.OneTrueMedia.com
It is springtime and the island is beginning to start buzzing with activity. Our little "rock" is warming up and the boys have been keeping us busy. We started soccer a few weeks ago and both boys are doing well. I also included pictures of the Easter Egg hunt with Bryce's class and some fun in sun shots as well. We are beginning to emerge nicely with the warm sun and hope to have more frequent updates.

Very "Magical" Christmas Gift!!
Make photo slide shows at www.OneTrueMedia.com
(This post is very long but the boys really enjoy watching the pictures. Really sorry!!)
Santa put together a very special gift for us. He left a letter describing a trip that he worked out for us to go to Disney World. We spent four days int he parks and had a blast. Will was very brave to go on the Star Wars Star Tours ride and was very proud of himself! (as were we) Bryce was the brave one in the Haunted Mansion and enjoyed talking to Crush during Turtle Time in Epcot. He was the the star of the show!! On the last day, both boys were pulled into the street during the Block Party Bash to dance with the cast members. As much as they dance at home, they looked as if they were made of stone. It was a fantastic trip and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Truly a "magical" Christmas! Thanks Santa!!!
Christmas
Photo and video editing at www.OneTrueMedia.com
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! This begins with the Christmas program at the boy's school. Then it shows pictures of Christmas Eve waiting on Santa to make his annual trip around St Simons on the firetruck. As we were leaving church, we heard the sirens and thought we missed him. The boys were very upset but we think he took a different route and we made it back to the house before he got down Frederica. The last pictures are of Christmas morning. The letter from Santa was a brilliant surprise for us. More pictures about that to follow...
